The Heian NC-162MC is a twin table machining center with a full function 5-axis universal machining spindle. The machining tables may be combined by program controlas one large work area, or used individually to pendulum process during the machining cycle. The machine is capable of working in most materials, i.e. non-ferrous metals, composites, plastics, resins, wood, etc.

Details: The machining head is supported by a twin bearing yoke for rigidity and accuracy. The spindle motor is a high performance, constant output, with an oil cooling design, to limit temperatures even when run for extended time periods. Spindle features the highest quality ceramic bearings for accuracy. Equipped with hypoid gears for highly accurate angular movement. A locking mechanism is used for fixed angle machining for reliability and security.
