Hinge insertion machine
The Express S1 is a heavy duty drilling and inserting machine for all types and brands of hinges, hinge plates, furniture and cabinet hardware. It features a rigid steel base construction with integrated drilling and inserting unit; standard 4-spindle drill head with high speed chucks; feeding and inserting of hinges by magazine and inserting die; lighted program selector that allows drilling only- or drilling/inserting; cycle time approximately 5 seconds for drilling and inserting.

Double side hinge and fitting insertion machine
The Gannomat Express S2 machines were designed to have an impact on production for companies spending too much in labor to insert hinges and other types of hardware. Gannomat has produced dies and magazines to insert many different hinge types, including wrap hinges, euro face frame hinges and standard euro arm hinges with or without plates attached. The Express will insert all types of hinge plates exclusive of the hinge plate.
Like the Express S2 for hinges, the Express S2 RTA makes inserting RAFIX fittings a breeze. Single post and double post cams are inserted with ease. The Express RTA machine drills and inserts all cams flush and perpendicular to the edge of the workpiece eliminating the problem of miss aligned fittings. Dies and magazines are unique to the hardware being installed.

CNC insertion for hinges and RTA fittings
The Express S1 CNC machines provides CNC controlled drilling and inserting of hinges, hinge plates and cabinet fittings with variable programming of boring patterns, as well as scanned sizing for workpiece length. The machine was specially designed for just-in-time manufacturing and large batch production. Two working fields allow the processing of 1 or 2 workpieces in sequence. This "pendulum processing" allows that while the first piece is in operation, the second one can be loaded or unloaded. Thus saving valuable machine time.
