Single side edgebander
The KDN-200 is the latest machine from Brandt. It is an extremely compact machine, which is setting new benchmarks in terms of high performance capability and operator convenience when processing edgebanding material up to 3mm. The machine comes with the proven Brandt glue system that has a heat up time of 12 Min. and features an automatic reduction of glue temperature if the machine is not run for 15 Min. This allows for a very fast return to operating temperature and prevents glue discoloration and charring. It features a two (2) motor end trim unit that rides on THK guideways and gives high precision cuts through a drawing cut. Straight/chamfer trimming adjustment by easily tilting the unit. Multifunctional trimming unit that uses DFC (Dust-Flow-Control) tooling for clean trimming resuts. Precise and robust feed track and chain. Quick and easy adjustment for all common edgebanding materials. Includes set up and training by our in-house, factory trained technicians.

The KDN / KDF 300 series machines are equipped with the easy to operate, leak proof glue application system that Brandt is well known for. This system offers automatic reduction of glue temperature if the machine is not run in 15 Min. (re-heat time Approx. 2-1/2 Min.) and features a 12 min. (Cold to run) heat up time. These machines offer an impressive number of detail improvements to furthur enhance customer benefit i.e. by using the joint trimming equipment (KDF models) an optimum edge quality can be acheived. This is especially important in a NESTED BASE production cell. The KDN / KDF 500 series edgebanders from Brandt incorporate the lastest in design features. Machines are equipped with the PC 20+ control that features a large 12" LCD screen, offers short set up times, self explanatory operator guidance through a graphic interface, easy back up function of the entire control, and network compatibity. Many work stations feature servo motor control for indexing and adjusting the stations.
Machines can be equipped with the optional joint trimming device to give the optimum edge quality, especially useful in a NESTED BASE cell. For high production capabilities a glue pre-melting system is available. The heavy duty pressure section easily handles the 8mm edgebanding capacity of the 500 series machines.
