The Optimat KAL 210 series permits processing of all types of edging materials - for instance solid wood, coil and fixed length materials, melamine, PVC, ABS and veneered edges to name only some examples. For banding work, hot melt glues are usually used, while PU glues are applied for special requirements. **
The "Pre-mill" Optimat is designed for "Pre-Milling", banding and finish processing. The "Pre-Milling" units for splinter-free processing are mounted ahead of the gluing unit. **

The demand for cabinet and furniture components in batch sizes of one has increased dramatically in the last few years. Flexline is an innovation capable of the flexible processing of panels cut to precise dimensions and angles in different sizes on a single sided edge banding machine. The benefits of the "Flex line" are: Average space savings of 25%; Approx. 400-500 batch size one pieces per shift - (Max. cycle time is 12 les per minute); through put times reduced by almost 50%; up to as much as 30% less capital expenditure involved; offers true JIT production. The "Flex line" includes the following components: Single sided edgebander (based on the KAL 330 series); automatic work piece guidance; air cushion table; roller conveyor; ZHR 30 "Boomerang" return conveyor; cell control by means of input through a PC22 control with "Quick Touch" or barcode with reader.
