• Robust steel base construction.

• Precision boring unit with 25 spindle drill head. Spindles on 32mm pitch. • Side fences, boring and inserting depth and position adjustment for drilling height settings by digital counters.
• Three program positions of side fences for frequently used boring patterns.
• Eight dowel inserting units (standard 8mm) with high pressure gluing system.
• Fully electronic program selection of machine: (a) tool change; (b) drilling only; (c)gluing and inserting only; (d) drill/glue/insert (approx. 5 sec. cycle); (e) metered glue amount for 6/8/10 and 12mm dowels.
• GLUE SYSTEM: completely closed, 6 bar pressure, eliminates hardening of glue in the nozzle, and the need for frequent cleaning of the system. Electronically controlled glue amount selector switch. Glue/water selector switch for occasional rinsing of the glue system. Control light to indicate low glue amount. Two (2) stainless steel, 5 liter (1-1/2 Gal.) containers for glue and/or water.

CNC Boring and Dowel Insertion machine
The Index Trend is Gannomat's second generation CNC drilling, gluing, insertion machine. The trend offers CNC flexibility for doweling casegoods components, drawer
and frame components in solid wood and composite materials. The tooling platform travels by rack and pinion and is driven by servo motor. The two linear guideway supports are part of the table box beam and are milled as one for extreme accuracy. The computer utilizes the Windows XP operating system and well as Gannomat production software. The Trend is a Four (4) address (Zone) machine. Each address can be programmed with the same or different operations.
