CAMERON AUTOMATION QUICKRIP "FENCELESS" OPTIMIZING INFEED SYSTEM is a compact
(smallest footprint in the industry), simple and complete gang rip optimizer designed for the small to medium sized user. It is ideal for operators that are running either fixed or moving blade gang ripsaws. It quickly transforms a manual hand fed saw to a full and complete rip optimizing system. The quick rip is a full featured optimizing system. Advantages of Quick Rip over hand feeding • 7-10% increase in yield • Accurate positioning of boards (no yield loss due to misalignment) • High throughput (8-9 boards / Min. – Higher with wide fixed arbor for flooring) • Will handle up to 16 Ft. lengths (optional) • Safer • Automatic material tally • Complete fence-less optimazition • Single operator loads and defects • Optional automatic skewing for an additional 2-3% yield improvement • Catalog each and every board • optional moving laser lights • Expandable to a fully automated “OptiRip” system • The Quick Rip can be installed on your existing gang ripsaw: • Kentwood R340E, R340E 1M & 2M saws • All Mereen-Johnson ripsaws • Raimann KM310 and KR-310 saws • Primo (Cantek) MRS-340M saws • Progressive 24”, 31” and 36” ripsaws • Newman Whitney • Stetson-Ross • Others • The Quick Rip software features: • Quickly and accurately measure the board in up to 16 positions • Quickly present the yield solutions to choose from • Calculate yield before ripping • Keep accurate total of net widths ripped • Adjust priorities to balance production requirements • Evaluate arbor set-ups to help configure arbor for improved yield • Arbor generating software allows optimizing new arbor setups • Download and categorize each board that QuickRip scans • Run simulations based upon previously scanned material from a particular supplier • Run simulations for random width material • Network to Office • Network to Cameron cross cut machines • Quick Rip VideoQuick Rip with skewing Video

CAMERON AUTOMATION AUTOMATED OPTIRIP SYSTEM offers the highest yield for the
dollar. It is the least expensive, simplest, easiest to maintain, and delivers the highest yield of any rip optimization system. The Ultimate goal of any ripping system is to maximize throughput and yield. The OptiRip offers an innovative approach to optimizing and feeding. Rather than the tired old approach of offering a moveable fence, the OptiRip incorporates a sophisticated servo-conveyor to accurately position the material before it is fed into the saw. This approach improves accuracy and yield. Because very few boards are straight, using a straight fence to align the boards WILL NOT PRODUCE the highest yields. By eliminating the fence and using the servo conveyor and pinch roll feed mechanism, the OptiRip accurately positions and feeds the board into the saw in the orientation best suited for the highest possible yield. If your current system is not giving you edges that are cleaned up on both sides and off fall that is very thin or non-existent, then you need to investigate the OptiRip system used in conjunction with the Kentwood Gang ripsaws. KENTWOOD "ADAVANTAGE RIP 1" OPTIMIZING RIP IN FEED SYSTEM
and its software technology gives you the best method of managing the rough mill operation. The "Advantage Rip 1" is a heavy duty infeed system that is designed to meet the requirements of those customers that have a low to moderate production requirement. The system manages the flow into the ripsaw reducing labor and safety concerns. The ideal production system for low to moderate requirements is the "Advantage Rip 1" with a Kentwood R320 2M two moving blade ripsaw. This system provides automatic optimization with manual over ride as required. Moving lasers are included and located on the ripsaw to reference each blade's physical position on the board per the optimized solution. The "Advantage Rip 1" has an easy to use software package easy to create and manage a cut-list. The fence infeed includes a moving fence controlled with a foot pedal and heavy duty rollers. Two sets of hold down rollers as well as stabilizing bars to prevent alignment problems with the board entering the saw.

KENTWOOD ADVANTAGE RIP 2 OPTIMIZING RIP IN FEED SYSTEM
and its software technology gives you the best method of managing the rough mill operation. Easy to use, "Advantage Rip" solutions are upgradeable. The system provides the rough mill with the ability to predict yields and improve quality control. It can position the board in front of the ripsaw and automatically feed into the saw. "Advantage Rip" uses multiple points to measure the width and length of the board and present the optimized rip solution to the operator via lasers or overhead laser projector. The result is your operator produces the correct amount of product, in the shortest possible times, with the highest yields. While the "Advantage Rip" system's software often bypasses the need to manually adjust blade spacing, it is equipped with a manual overide, providing operators a choice based upon the material.

Details
: Features: Touch screen control allows easy operation of the system, even while wearing gloves. Cutting simulation allows you to determine material yield before ripping a single board. It can operate from an office PC, independantly from the control to minimize disruption of day to day rough mill operation. Report generation is standard, it includes input/output analysis, yield, distribution, etc. Order entry allows the operator to set strip values and footage quantiities; laser width and length sensors; servo driven fence; driven canted rolls; lateral chains with staging hooks.

Additional Info
: OPTIONS: Office package software for downloading to machine; automatic off-stacking equipment.
