COLOR MATCHING AND PANEL LAY UP SYSTEM
The Opti-Match is the only machine to completely automate the color matching process for high quality solid wood panels. The Opti-Match combines innovative scanning and sorting technology with complex computer programs to build and stack sized, color matched, and color blended panels, automatically. It completely eliminates the labor intensive and subjective job of manual color matching.
The Opti-Match Will:
• Accurately measure board width and color from parallel ripped defected stock.
• Scan an area 5” in from the end of each board as it traverses across grain.
• Choose from 22 boards at a time to find boards that are close in color to make a specified size panel.
• Assemble the chosen boards in the proper order to blend the boards in each panel.
• Automatically stack the assembled panels on a scissors lift, ready for gluing.
• Keep accurate tallies of panels and board pieces.
• Allow entering of multiple panel widths.
• Smart stack multiple panel widths.

AUTOMATED PANEL LAY-UP SYSTEM
The Smart Stack is available in two models; the Smart Stack and the Smart Stack Jr. They reduce labor by stacking random or fixed width material neatly into stacks of product. Smart Stacks can be fed manually or automatically. Software can monitor single or multiple Smart Stack machines, automatically tally square feet and board feet, and provide identifying product labels. Smart Stacks are perfect for many plant operations such as tailing a Double End Tennoner, a Wide Belt Sander, Automated Chop Line, or even a Straight Line Rip Saw. Smart Stacks will eliminate the arduous job of stacking and tallying material in a rough mill operation. •
The Smart Stack Will:
• Automatically stack material faster than an operator, reduce fatigue, and eliminate bending down.
• Scan 40 pieces per minute, while reading the width of each board and tallying all material.
• Shuffle boards automatically to produce an even stack, self level the scissors lift, and print labels for each stack.
• Operate with or without a computer and can be networked with other Smart Stacks to get production reports on the fly. •
