Accurately dado, groove, plow or rabbet. Work with wood, laminate surfaced plywood, particle board, vinyl surfaced materials, solid surface materials, engineered woods, metal faced or foam materials. Dado materials up to 2½" thick. The Panel Router does straight line dado work efficiently and economically. All cuts are plainly visible when cutting. Each machine comes equipt with two blind dado stops for housed in dados or blind dado cabinet assembly. (Use our Shelf Dapper to dap the horizontal pieces quickly and safely.) The Panel Router is safer and faster than a dadohead in a table saw or radial arm set-up. Plus the Panel Router delivers an even depth of cut! •
The Panel Router requires just one operator. The fence is set at a convenient working height to reduce operator stress. The self-lubricating bearings on the carriage maintain carriage tolerances as well as easing use. The vertical position of the workpiece is easier to handle, plus gravity and the clamps keep it squarely in place. This simple straightforward approach to dadoing has made this machine a vital part of many workshops, large and small. •
Horizontal grooves or dados are as easy as pushing the workpiece through the machine. Just lock the carriage at the desired position, then push the material through. The Vertical Index can be used to templet all your horizontal grooves, dados or rabbets. The Panel Router comes equipped with a templet system for quick easy vertical dadoing. • The Panel Router uses very little floor space for the size of workpieces it can handle. This machine was designed to be a time, material and labor saver, and it has proven itself to be just that.

Straight Vertical Dadoing at its Fastest & Simplest •
The pneumatic controls deliver a simple straightforward operation which requires only one operator. Using the pneumatic controlled templet system, each workpiece is done with speed and accuracy. The operator can control cross feed speed as well as carriage travel speed. Carriage travel speed needs to be adjusted to compensate for depth and diameter of cut. The convenient working height allows the operator to easily load and unload the workpieces. Using the pneumatic templet system the machine can be working while the operator is loading or unloading other workpieces. The carriage assembly has the Her-Saf crown show and pantographic action insuring an even depth of cut. The all tubular steel frame construction adds to the durability. •
The easy to read control panel is located to the left of the carriage assembly for easy access. Mounted at a convenient working height with push button or toggle switch access to all functions. •
Handle small workpieces by simply making a templet fixture to hold them. Small workpieces can now be done easily, quickly, and accurately. Always make at least two templets for the Automatic Panel Router; that way you can load the next workpiece while the machine is still working. •

Straight Line Dadoing -- Vertical & Horizontal
Pneumatic control for fast efficient straight line dadoing, rabbeting or grooving. This machine has two templet systems: the pneumatic templet system for vertical cuts and the carriage lock system for horizontal cuts. •
The operator can control the two-way power cross feed speed simply by adjusting the dial gage located next to the easy to read control panel. The control panel is located to the right of the carriage for easy access. The push button and toggle switches control the machine functions. •
The carriage assembly has the Her-Saf crown shoe and pantographic action insuring an even depth of cut. The operator can easily adjust the carriage speed for depth and diameter of cut. Depth of cut is quickly adjusted by using the dial gage with pointer on the front of the carriage. The many safety aspects of this machine make it the best choice for dadoing. The all tubular steel frame construction adds to the durability and stability of this machine. The convenient working height allows the operator to easily load and unload workpieces. •
The pneumatic templet system ensures accuracy and versatility. Make at least two templets at a time; that way the machine can be kept in operation while loading and unloading workpieces. Templets should always be the same thickness. This photo shows the templet in front of the workpiece, when in actuality the templet is behind the workpiece being read by the pneumatic system. •
The vertical index templet with the locking carriage can be set up for a wide variety of horizontal dadoing, including T-slotting. Use the power cross feed rollers to automatically move materials through the machine. Spacing can be as close as 1" apart.
