Blue Steel's entry level gang ripsaw gives reliable continuous performance and superior cut quality, because of the cast iron frame construction and straight line track feeding with caterpillar chain. The chain blocks are constructed of a special cast iron with heat treated and precision ground pins. Includes 3 sets of anti-kickback fingers for added safety. An automatic centralized lubrication system insures a long and accurate service life. A heavy duty nickel chrome steel arbor with double keyways and a 70mm diameter, fast removal saw sleeve is standard. A star-delta starter is included to give a "soft start". Rip up to 120mm (4-5/8") thick material at standard feed speeds up to 30 M/Min. (98 FPM); 300mm (12") arbor width.

STRAIGHT LINE RIPSAW
The BLUE STEEL ARS-12H straightline ripsaw from has features not found in competitive machines of this price range. The precision feed chain and double "V" guides are made of a special iron for long lasting wear to insure long life when properly maintained. The conveyor chains use precision ground connector pins, with diamond cut, precision machined, heat treated chain blocks. The guides assure absolute straight line feeding for glue joint rip capabilities. In addition extra hold down rolls (8 total) provide increased control for straightline glue joint ripping up to 10 Ft. in length.The precision built saw arbor is manufactured of nickel-chrome steel accurately ground and dynamically balanced. The arbor runs in precision angular contact bearings to eliminate radial run-out and axial thrust of the arbor. The machine is equipped with an automatic chain lubrication system with low oil safety shut-off. Lubricant flow rate is automatically adjusted with variation in chain speed. Three (3) sets of anti-kickback fingers (2) sets on top and (1) set in the table) and side guards are provided for operator safety. Machine includes 10 mW red laser as standard equipment (see options).

The "Advantage Rip 1" is a heavy duty infeed system that is designed to meet the requirements of those customers that have a low to moderate production requirement. The system manages the flow into the ripsaw reducing labor and safety concerns. The ideal production system for low to moderate requirements is the "Advantage Rip 1" with a Kentwood R320 2M two moving blade ripsaw. This system provides automatic optimization with manual over ride as required. Moving lasers are included and located on the ripsaw to reference each blade's physical position on the board per the optimized solution.
