6" X 89" Oscillating edge sander
This sander features a 6" x 89" belt that oscillates 3/4" vertically at fifty two times per minute! It also has a quick release belt tension lever, a 0 to 90 degree tilting graphite-coated platen, and a 2 HP motor. The W1730 has a 26-7/8" x 12" cast iron main table for edge sanding and a 10" x 11-1/2" cast iron auxiliary table for spindle sanding. Three spindle sanding drums, measuring 1-1/2", 2", and 3" in diameter are included for sanding smaller curved surfaces. Other features include a 180 degree adjustable miter gauge, two 4" dust ports, a powder-coated finish, and a removable fence.

• BELT TENSION ASSEMBLY -
A superior idler pulley mechanism makes belt tracking insensitive to belt tension changes. The 5" Urethane coated steel pulley with heavy sealed bearings provides excellent belt support.
• TABLE SUPPORT BRACKET -
The main table support brackets allow the table to be tilted up 15 degrees and down 48 degrees by loosening the very secure tee handle. Table also adjusts in and out. Table can be adjusted vertically to provide 4" bias. No wrenches required. Table adjusts in and out to provide desired clearance from the belt. Table size is 12" x 48".
• ADJUSTABLE CURVE PLATEN TABLE -
(OPTIONAL) It is always a challenge to sand large curves without producing a series of arcs. This accessory solves the problem for a wide range of shapes. The large adjusting knob varies the arc of a curve from flat to about a 12" radius. Quickly attaches to the rear of the sander and can be used with Accessory Side Table.
• OSCILLATING DRIVE -
(OPTIONAL) A 1/20 HP 110 volt Gearhead Motor oscillates the idler pulley to provide 1" belt movement 32 cycles per minute. An electrical disconnect is provided should you want to use it in a non-oscillating mode. Very easy to install on standard unit.
