The Oliver 270-D tilting arbor saw meets the standards for a medium sized, heavy duty, accurate, tilting arbor saw. The machine has a maximum blade capacity of 16" but is designed to use 14" blades. With the plain double rip fence it rips stock up to 16" wide to the left of the saw blade and up to 29-1/2" wide to the right.Standard Equipment Includes: 3 HP, 3600 rpm, TEFC, direct drive motor arbor; magnetic control; Standard type "G" rip fence; sawguard with anti-kickbacks; splitter; crosscut miter gage; foot brake. 18" Heavy Duty, Tilting Arbor Variety Saw - YEAR 1965
The Oliver 88-D tilting arbor saw is capable of handling up to 18" Dia. saw blades. An 18" blade will project 4-3/4" thru the table. The standard machine rips up to 32-1/4" wide with the type "G" fence. It miters and dadoes at square or at any angle up to 45 Deg. Standard dado capacity is 3/4" wide. Wider dadoes can be used with optional dado sleeve. The base is a heavy cored cast iron casting, with a built-in 5" Dia. dust chute for easy connection to a collector system. The standard plain table is a heavy cast iron casting. Power to the saw arbor is by a 5 HP, 3600 RPM, TEFC, direct drive arbor. Deep groove ball bearings, designed for end thrust as well as angular thrust assure an accurate and true running arbor. Standard Equipment Includes: 5 HP direct drive arbor motor; magnetic starter; Type "G" rip fence; saw guard with anti-kickbacks; saw splitter; crosscut gage; mechanical brake.
