CNC dovetail machine - NEW 5/2008
The OMEC 750CN automatic dovetail machine is equipped with a two axis CNC control; a single cutter spindle that allows machining of dovetails of adjustable heights. It can machine single male or female joints, or both simultaneously. The locking and release of workpieces in the manual mode is by manual release of pnuematic clamps. In the full automatic mode all controls are issued from the CNC control. Controls are located on a built-in work panel. The machine has variable work speeds. The 750 CNC control is programmed to guarantee the utmost flexibility. It allows the user to change machining limits with the following variables: (1) pitch of dovetails (2) number of dovetail joints (3) depth of dovetails (4) work piece dimensions (5) cutter RPM and feed speed (6) tool radius compensation. All adjustments are easily accomplished by following the instructions displayed on the machine screen. Includes two (2) additional cutters. Approximate current replacement cost is $ 30,500.00. Condition - LIKE NEW - as taken from service.
