Built to our specifications and quality standards. This high quality, industrial single head machine includes a combination sanding head with grooved rubber covered contact drum for coarse sanding, and polishing platen for fine sanding. Whether you are sanding doors, face frames or glued-up panels the Blue Steel sander can handle the task. Utilizing the combination head and the powerful motor makes light abrasive planing and finish sanding easy. • It features industrial standard 37" X 75" sanding belts. • Infeed and outfeed rubber covered, spring loaded, double hold down rolls for safe and effective hold down pressure. • A variable passline height of 29" to 34". • Table adjustment is provided by four (4) precision ball screw jacks. • Table opening is 1/8" to 5". • Variable speed conveyor with speeds of 16 to 80 FPM. • Power raise and lower of conveyor with digital control and fine feed handwheel adjustment. • Control panel includes amp meter for main sanding head motor, digital keyboard for thickness input, and on / off switches for motors. • Electronic belt oscillation / tracking system, includes mechanical belt over track safety system. • Emergency stops on infeed and outfeed. • Over thickness safety shut-off. • Safety interlocks on doors. • Aircraft type "Non-Fade" disc brakes. • Main drive motor - 15 HP • minimum thickness - 1/8" • Maximum thickness - 5" • Feed motor - 1.5 HP • Table elevation motor - 1/2 HP • dust outlets - (2) 4" • 230/460/3/60 - wired for 230/3/60 •
